Importance of Trimming your candle wick before burning your favorite candle.

• Trimming your wick not only provides you with a cleaner burn, but also a safer burn. Before lighting your candle again, make sure to trim any "mushrooming" off and ensure the wick is around 1/4 inch in length. 

• Trimming your wick will also prolong the burn time of your candle. And who doesn't want their favorite scent to last a little longer?!

• Trimming your wick every time will give you a more controlled burn, which will give you a more consistent "hot-throw". (A candle's "hot-throw" is the strength of the fragrance oil when it is burning.)
